Previously we had reported that Dhanush's upcoming film with director Mithran Jawahar and Sun Pictures will have multiple heroines and that Hansika, Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Raashi Khanna were being associated with the project.

Latest we hear, Priya Bhavani Shankar has been finalized as one of the female leads and Sulthan actress Rashmika Mandanna is also being considered for a role. 

Produced by Sun Pictures, this project was signed by Dhanush as his 44th film and hence was referred to as D44.
