One and half years since Dhanush's movie with director Mithran Jawahar of Yaaradi Nee Mohini fame was officially announced, an update on the film's shooting has finally emerged. Dhanush who is currently shooting for D 43 in Hyderabad and will begin Naane Varuven in August, is expected to begin the Mithran Jawahar movie in September, 2021.

A Sun Pictures production, this project was supposed to be Dhanush's 44th film and hence was referred to as D44. It has music by Anirudh and previously we had reported that actress Hansika will be reuniting with Dhanush after Mapillai. 

New reports suggest that there will be two more heroines in the movie and the makers are currently in talks with Nithya Menen, Raashi Khanna and Priya Bhavani Shankar.
