Naane Varuven, Dhanush's upcoming film with his director brother Selvaraghavan will begin shooting from August, 2021. Film's composer Yuvan Shankar Raja has said that he is currently working on the second song of the movie.

Naane Varuven is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu and is expected to release in 2022. The movie is touted to be an action thriller and will have cinematography by Arvind Krishna.
