Ajith's long-awaited movie Valimai is gearing up for a first look release on May 1, 2021 on the actor's 50th birthday and this has only been the official update so far. Reportedly Ajith has completed dubbing for the movie now and only the action sequence that needs to be shot abroad remains.

Recently Valimai producer Boney Kapoor went on to describe the movie as 'strong family content' with 'solid action'. The movie directed by H. Vinoth is expected to hit theater screens on August 12, 2021 and have a teaser and first single release in June and July respectively.
