As Valimai first look release date was officially confirmed to be May 1, 2021 today, other release plans for the Ajith starrer also made it to the grapevine. We had previously reported that Valimai will release in theaters for the Independence day weekend on August 12, 2021; looks like the makers are sticking to this release date plan.

The makers are also sticking to their original plan of wrapping the film's remaining portions (overseas schedule) before the first look release in May. The overseas shoot is expected to be wrapped in a week.

First single from Valimai composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja will be releasing in June, 2021 whereas the movie's teaser or trailer is said to be coming out in July, 2021.
