Producer Boney Kapoor in an interview with The Forbes has confirmed that his upcoming Tamil production Valimai will wrap all domestic shooting on February 15, 2021. He has also said that only one stunt sequence will be left post that, which they plan on canning overseas.

"The entire filming will be over by February 15, 2021 barring one stunt sequence to be shot overseas. Post production will start soon. The release date is to be finalized", the producer was quoted as saying.  Recently Valimai music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja updated through his website that he had finished composing for the intro number for the movie and elaborated details about it.

Stunt actors who were part of Ajith's action scenes in the movie were also spotted sharing their pictures from the sets.
