Director Selvaraghavan's highly anticipated horror movie Nenjam Marappathillai is finally releasing in theaters on March 5, 2021. Before this, the movie starring SJ Suryah, Regina Cassandra, Nandita Sweta was rumoured to be releasing on OTT directly and here is why.

It is being said that Nenjam Marappathillai makers are taking the fast-OTT way just like Master, a recent Tamil release did. Vijay starrer Master was made available to stream officially within 16 days of the movie's theatrical release, and the film continued to run in cinema halls post the digital premiere as well. 

Nenjam Marappathillai is expected to be made available on OTT platforms if not as quick, but within 30 days of the film's theatrical release, an arrangement that is yet to be officially confirmed.

If one may recall the OTT platform that hosts Master had not run any publicity ads or promotions for the film, so as to not affect its theatrical run.
