Yesterday, we reported about Suriya 40 makers finalizing actress Priyanka Arul Mohan as the film's female lead. Now, sources close to the movie have confirmed this buzz to be true, adding that the movie will indeed go on floors in February as announced by director Pandiraj.

Suriya is currently shooting for his extended cameo in his home production and one he wraps this, he will begin Suriya 40. Touted to be a rural entertainer, Suriya 40 is a production venture of Sun Pictures and is expected to begin shooting on February 15, 2021.
