Only recently, we had reported about a buzz that suggested that Suriya 40 (tentative title), director Pandiraj's upcoming film with the Sun Pictures banner is all set to go on floors from February 15, 2021. While an official confirmation on the same is still awaited, word has it that the heroine of the film has been finalized.

At the beginning of this year, Pandiraj had tweeted that the team was waiting on locking 2 important characters for the movie and now it is being said that actress Priyanka Arul Mohan is on-board as the female lead. Previously Rashmika Mandanna's name was associated with the project before Pandiraj rubbished it off as a mere rumour. 

Priyanka Arul Mohan is also working alongside Sivakarthikeyan in Doctor in Tamil and it is to be seen if she has scored big with a Suriya movie.
