It has now been officially confirmed that D44 (tentative title), Dhanush's upcoming film with Sun Pictures will have Anirudh for the music. DnA as the duo usually stylize themselves are reuniting after their last collaboration Thanga Magan in 2015.

Mithran Jawahar who has worked with Dhanush in the films Yaradi Nee Mohini (2008), Kutty (2010), and Uthama Puthiran (2010) is said to be directing the film, which has been scripted by Dhanush himself. Hansika Motwani was last associated with the project for playing female lead.
