Suseenthiran's last directorial release Champion was originally supposed to have Yuvan Shankar Raja for music but the duo had a public fall-out two years ago. Now, Yuvan is all set to reunite with the director for reports of the composer being roped in for Suseenthiran's new film with Simbu (STR) is doing the rounds.

Touted to be a rural entertainer, the yet to be titled STR-Suseenthiran film recently commenced shooting at Dindugal and Bharathi Raja who plays a key role in the movie was a part of the schedule. Simbu who is also producing this quick movie is expected to begin filming from tomorrow i.e. October 8, 2020.

Actress Niddhi Agerwal of Munna Michael (Hindi) and Savyasachi (Telugu) fame is said to be playing female lead while the technical crew also includes Tirru for cinematography.
