With Tamil Nadu becoming one of the four states in India to have a COVID-19 growth rate faster than the national growth rate, public places re-opening stays a distant dream for now. Moviebuffs have already accepted OTT platforms as their new normal and more and more Tamil films have started premiering digitally.

While Yogi Babu starrer Cocktail and Varalaxi Sarathkumar's Danny will be releasing directly on Zee 5 in the coming days, Arya, Sayyesha starrer Teddy seems to be the latest Kollywood production eyeing the OTT way. The movie is directed by Shakthi Soundarajan and produced by Studio Green.

Word also has it that Siddharth starrer Takkar which has already been in the news for aiming a direct digital release, will be coming up with a release date soon.
