Nerkonda Paarvai, Valimai producer Boney Kapoor has confirmed via an official statement that one of his house-staffs has tested positive for Coronavirus COVID-19 and that he and his daughters Jhanvi and Khushi Kapoor will be quarantining themselves for the next 14 days in lieu of the same. Charan, the house-help is said to have been unwell since Saturday and was sent for testing and kept in isolation by the producer.

Upon him testing positive the BMC (Mumbai's municipal corporation) were notified and the authorities then started the process of getting Charan into a quarantine centre.

"Myself, my children and the other staff at home are all fine and none of us is showing any symptoms. In fact, we haven't left our home since the Lockdown started. We are thankful to the Govt of Maharashtra and BMC for their swift response. We shall be diligently following the instructions and advice given to us by BMC and their medical team. We are sure that Charan would soon recover and be back at home with us," read Kapoor's statement.
