Psycho starring Udhayanidhi Stalin, Nithya Menen and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles directed by Mysskin hit the screens on January 24. Touted to be a psychological thriller film, it opened to raving reviews from all quarters. The film has performed well in its first week in TN despite bagging 'A' certificate and also being tagged as one of most violent films in India.

Mysskin's film has earned around Rs. 11 cr in its first week while it has grossed Rs. 2.02 cr from Chennai city alone. The film has been doing excellent business especially in multiplexes. With no stiff competition, the film is expected to continue its steady run in its second week as well. Produced by Arun Mozhi Manickam's Double Meaning Productions, the film is distributed by Udhayanidhi's 'Red Giant Films'.
