Mysskin directed Psycho which hit the screens on January 24 opened to positive reviews from critics. The film starring Udhayanidhi Stalin, Aditi Rao Hydari and Nithya Menon in the lead roles is a psychological thriller which is about a visually challenged person trying to save his lady love abducted by a serial killer.

Pyscho tagged as one of the most violent films has raked in Rs. 44 lakhs in its opening weekend and has topped the weekend box office in Chennai . Darbar which hit the screens on January 9 is continuing its steady run in its third week and has collected Rs. 14.62 cr in 18 days. The film is inching towards Rs. 15 cr mark.

Mahesh Babu's 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' has minted Rs. 1.03 CR in 16 days while Allu Arjun's 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' has grossed Rs. 99 lakhs in 15 days and is inching close to Rs. 1 cr mark in the city. 

Santhanam is set to have two releases Server Sundaram and Dagaalty in the coming weekend along with Sasikumar's Nadodigal on January 31.
