Dhanush who stunned the audience with his performance in Asuran last year is eagerly awaiting the release of his upcoming film Pattas which is set to hit the screens on January 15 for Pongal. The trailer of the film which was released by the makers yesterday has garnered positive response from the audience. 

Dhanush is essaying dual roles as father and son and the movie revolves around martial arts and kickboxing. The trailer has the right mix of all the commercial elements and promises to be a complete family entertainer this festival season. The trailer has clocked 3 million views so far and is trending at No. 2 position on Youtube. 

Pattas starring Dhanush, Sneha and Mehreen Pirzada in the lead roles is directed by Durai Senthilkumar. Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, composer duo Mervin - Vivek have scored the music.
