Lockup starring Vaibhav and Venkat Prabhu in the lead roles is directed by S.G. Charles, a former associate of Mohan Raja. The team has completed the dubbing and the post-production work is happening in full swing. The film produced by Nithin Sathya is based on on real life incidents. Lockup is an investigative thriller and both Venkat Prabhu and Vaibhav are playing cops in the movie.

The first look of the film was unveiled recently by Dhanush and the film's teaser will be out on November 7. Vani Bhojan, Eswari Rao and Poorna are also part of the cast. Lock up has music by Arrol Corelli. Nitin is planning to release the film towards the end of November.
