Almost 8 months since the film's release, subtitlist rekhs whose team worked on adding subs to the movie 2.0 has called out Lyca Productions for failing to settle the payment due the production company owes. In her series of tweets, rekhs has said,
"can @LycaProductions pls let me know when my team & i will be paid for #2pointO we handed over all reels, both langs in good faith, trusting u won't let us dwn. Sadly my last resort but i strongly feel cast & crew shd b paid. i cn u/s delay but not this silence 2my calls/mail..i texted called mailed, had colleague / friends talk to them also. in fact even said if not settled i'll be forced to tweet, not a threat. i was v clear. i owe it to my team. i hav waited patiently for 10months when my requests were ignored. u think i am still wrong?! #fairplay (sic)"
rekhs has however maintained that director Shankar has nothing to do with the issue and when a similar situation arose for Enthiran via Sun Pictures, the director even apologized which she feels was not warranted.
