Ajith Kumar’s Nerkonda Paarvai has a steady run in Chennai box office over the opening weekend grossing Rs. 5.5 Cr consistently spanning Rs. 1Cr -mark every day. 

The 4-Day collection reports in Chennai City Box Office are as follows 

Day 1 -₹ 1.58cr

Day 2 - ₹1.17cr

Day 3 - ₹1.38cr 

Day 4 - ₹ 1.42 cr

Total -  ₹5.55 cr

The film was released on last Thursday (August 8) and with strong word of mouth and positive reviews from the early press and premiere shows, it gained more attention.  With this week comprising of few more holidays (Eid and Independence Day) followed by weekend, Nerkonda Paarvai is likely retain the same scenario.
