The preview shows for Ajith's upcoming new film Nerkonda Paarvai started screening today and the first show was screened at 9 AM (IST) in Singapore. The film which is hitting theater screens on August 8, 2019 also had preview shows in Chennai, apparently at the insistence of lead actor Ajith. As advance bookings for the movie opened, a select few who caught the movie screening simultaneously had this to say about the film: 

The first half of the movie is said to be a faithful adaptation of Pink and Ajith's role in the movie is said to have been tweaked, a little different from Amitabh Bachchan's role in the original. As seen in the trailer, Ajith's action avatar is incorporated in the movie and there seems to be a particularly interesting pre-interval sequence for fans to look forward to. 

Shraddha Srinath's performance and Yuvan Shankar Raja's background score are two other factors which have been unanimously praised. Also a highlight dialogue which seems to be said about Ajith is currently being shared widely and it goes, "Brother, I don't know who you are. Don't stand in front of him (Ajith). (He holds) anger of many years. Don't know what he would do. Take my word and run."

Other factors of the film that have come under the praising scanner are Bigg Boss Abirami's performance, Rangaraj Pandey being an apt choice for his character and Vidya Balan's small yet attention-grabbing portrayal.
