Tamil lyricist Madhan Karky is teaming up with Disney India for the penning the Tamil dialogues for one of the Indian language versions of The Lion King, an upcoming live-action re-imagining of the 1994 animated classic.
The movie is directed by Jon Favreau of Iron Man and The Jungle Book fame and is hitting theater screens on July 19, 2019.
The film is also releasing in English, Hindi and Telugu and the Hindi version has Shahrukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan voicing the lead characters Mufasa and Simba.
