Buzz: Maanagaram director Lokesh Kanagaraj for Thalapathy 64!

 

If the industry buzz is anything to go by, then Maanagaram, Kaithi director Lokesh Kanagaraj is one of the front-runners to direct actor Vijay's next Thalapathy 64! This news follows our earlier report today, where in we had mentioned that the grapevine is already suggesting a 'young and upcoming talent' as the director of Vijay's 64th film.
 
Though there are no official confirmations, it is worth mentioning here that a few other new generation directors like Karthick Naren (D 16, Naragasooran) and H. Vinoth (Sathuranga Vettai, Theeran Athigaaram Ondru) were also linked to Vijay 64, indicating that Vijay was keen on working with fresh talent for his next after Thalapathy 63.

In the past directors like Mohan Raja and Hari and production banners like Super Good Films and V Creations have also been associated with Vijay 64, though none of the collaborations were confirmed officially.
