Arjun Reddy, one of Telugu cinema's nationally accepted films is currently being remade in Hindi (as Kabir Singh) and Tamil (as Varmaa reboot) with Shahid Kapoor and debutant Dhruv Vikram playing leads respectively.
The Dhruv Vikram starrer hit a major road-block after the producers who were originally remaking it as Varmaa decided to scrap the movie and re-shoot the whole film again. After announcing October heroine Banita Sandhu as the new female lead, the makers of Varmaa reboot recently confirmed cinematographer Ravi K Chandran's coming on board.

Incidentally, Ravi K Chandran's son and cinematographer Santhana Krishnan is currently wielding the camera for Arjun Reddy's Hindi version Kabir Singh, which also stars Kiara Advani in the lead.
