Banita Sandhu opposite Dhruv Vikram in Varmaa Reboot!

 

After shocking the Tamil film industry by deciding to re-shoot their entire film the makers of Dhruv Vikram's debut film Varmaa (remake of Arjun Reddy) have announced a new heroine for the film. Actress Banita Sandhu who made her debut in Indian films with the Varun Dhawan starrerOctober will now be seen reprising Shalini Pandey's role from the original.  

Word also has it that Girisayya, an associate who worked with director Sandeep Vanga in Arjun Reddy will be directing the Varmaa reboot.  It is also worth mentioning here that producer Mukesh R Mehta of E4 Entertainment had also announced that he "will soon announce a new title and technical team and supporting cast for the re-shoot". 

Varmaa plans to start re-shooting from the first week of March and release at the earliest possible. The earlier version of the film was scratched, after the producers, who are believed to have seen the final copy days before censor, were left unsatisfied.
