Dhanush's love for Tirunelveli continues with Asuran!

 

When Dhanush had begun work on his second directorial (DD2) in September last year, it was said that he chose to shoot the village portions of his mega budgeted period drama in and around Tirunelveli, for he had fallen in love with the scenic locations there during Maari 2. 

The fate of DD 2 may not be known as of today but Asuran, Dhanush's next film with Vetrimaaran  is now all set to be shot at Tirunelveli, a town know for showering the Vada Chennai actor with love in the past.

Apparently, pre-production for Asuran has been in full swing ever since announcement and most of the cast members will be joining Dhanush at Nellai from January 26, 2019, where shooting will go on for a few weeks.

Asuran is based on the Tamil novel Vetkai by Poomani and marks the Kollywood debut of Malayalam actress Manju Warrier.
