Petta Vs Viswasam: Here's what's happening around the Ajith Vs Rajinikanth clash!

 

January 10, 2019 is gearing up to witness what could be the biggest box-office clash in Tamil cinema since Chandramukhi (Rajinikanth), Mumbai Express (Kamal Haasan) and Sachein (Vijay) came on the same holiday of 2005. Sathya Jyothi Films and Sun Pictures are releasing their respective blockbuster prospects - the Ajith starrer Viswasam and Rajinikanth starrer Petta on the said day.
 
Fans, media and even some news channels are tracking the developments leading upto these films' releases closely and post this Sunday when Viswasam had its big trailer reveal, things have gotten heated up than ever. Ajith's dialogues in the trailer are presumably 'replies' to Rajinikanth's punches in Petta and the internet's been have a field day with it.
 
On one hand, fans are seen editing these dialogues for 'fan wars'.

On the other, social media 'creators' are seen meme-ing their way into this Petta-Viswasam and Ajith-Rajini clash.
Then there are some who view this as an opportunity for double entertainment and agree to this being quite the way to start the new year for movie buffs.
