It has been a while since Peranbu starring Mammootty and Sadhana in the lead roles and directed by Ram completed the censor formalities and was awarded an U/A certificate. Now, it has been officially announced that the film which comes with a run time of  2 hours and 27 minutes will be releasing in the month of February next year.

The announcement was made by the film's composer Yuvan Shankar Raja via his twitter page.

Peranbu has been showcased at several International film festivals and has received many accolades. The film traces the life of a doting father and the bond he shares with his differently-abled daughter. 

Produced by P.L. Thenappan under Shree Raja Lakshmi Films, the film also features Anjali, Samuthirakani, Livingston, Vadivukkarasi, Aruldoss in important roles with Theni Easwar for cinematography and Surya Pradhaman for the edits.
