Actor Rajinikanth's next with director Karthik Subbaraj, Petta has to be one of the fastest movies of the Superstar for the movie was announced, shot and is releasing within a span of 11 months. Petta is scheduled to hit theatre screens for Pongal, 2019 has been having back to back updates and the latest is a character poster of actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui who plays Singaar Singh in the film.

 
Petta will next have its second song release on December 7, 2018, followed by the entire album on December 9, 2018. The movie's first single Marana Mass has become an instant chart-buster and has been liked by a majority of the music buffs.
