Rajinikanth's sci-fi extravaganza 2.0 directed by Shankar is one of the hugely anticipated films across the country which is gearing up for release on November 29, 2018. The film has completed its censor formalities and has been awarded 'U/A' certificate with minor corrections and mutes. The run time of the film is 2 Hr 28 Min 52 Sec (148.52 mins).  

2.0 is one of the most expensive films made on a humongous budget of Rs. 600 cr in India and is also among the Top 10 list of world's most expensive non-English films. The film has done a phenomenal pre-release business of Rs. 560 cr worldwide.

Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson starrer 2.0 is the sequel of the 2010 film 'Enthiran'. Produced by Lyca Productions, AR Rahman has scored the music. In 2.0, Rajinikanth will reprise his Enthiran role as Dr Vaseegaran and the robot Chitti. The film also marks Akshay's debut in the Tamil film industry.
