The trailer of Shankar's hugely anticipated sci-fi extravaganza, 2.0 is all set to be unveiled in a few minutes and it has come to our attention that the 3D version of the trailer on personal hand-held devices using a 3D screen-guard. Apparently, the existence of this technology first came about when, when James Cameron wanted his Avatar 2's 3D version to be viewed from phones and tablets.

Nano-technology is said to be the tech used in these 3D screen guards and each of them come with around hundreds of thousands of microscopic lenses each transmitting 3D images, which intrun merge together to give the user the final 3D output.

The availability of such 3D screens are mostly for I phone models with some companies providing them for higher end models of Samsung smart-phones too.
