Shankar's hugely anticipated sci-fi extravaganza, '2.0' is set to hit the screens on November 29, 2018. The latest update is that the makers have planned to release the trailer of the film on November 3 prior to Diwali. The teaser of the film received tremendous response from fans. However an official announcement is awaited from the makers.

Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson starrer 2.0 is the sequel of the 2010 film 'Enthiran'. The film has been making a huge buzz ever since its announcement. The film reportedly is made on a humongous budget of over Rs 500 crore. AR Rahman has scored the music. 2.0 is being bankrolled by Lyca Productions. 

In 2.0, Rajinikanth will reprise his Enthiran role as Dr Vaseegaran and the robot Chitti. The film also marks Akshay's debut in the Tamil film industry.
