Sarkar: Interesting details revealed about Vijay's film!

The highly anticipated teaser of Vijay's film Sarkar is due to be unveiled in a few hours and at this time, we decided to list the interesting details that have come to the lime-light, while recapping some we know already. Take a look:

  1. Sarkar was originally written as a political thriller for Rajinikanth. Later it was scripted as 'Villadhi Villain' for Vijay before being titled as Sarkar. 
  2. In the film Vijay plays a character named Sundar, a ruthless businessman who lives in the US and upon his return to India, something happens which transforms him into a good man. 
  3. Vijay's character has apparently been named after Sundar Pichai, the real life Indian origin CEO of Google and director A.R. Murugadoss is even keen on meeting Pichai after the film's release. 
  4. Keerthy Suresh plays Vijay's love interest in the film, while Varalaxmi Sarahkumar plays Chief Minister's daughter in it. 
  5. Though the movie has political elements in it, it apparently will not have any direct references to political leaders or address any topical political situations unlike Mersal and Kaththi.
