Simbu and Sundar C have teamed up for the first time for the Tamil remake of Pawan Kalyan’s blockbuster Telugu film Attarintiki Daredi, written and directed by Trivikram. The team has started the film shooting in Georgia a couple of days back. Simbu has completed the first song shoot in Georgia. The song has foreigners as background dancers along with Simbu who is seen sporting a suave and stylish look in the film. 

Mega Akash who is already a part of Enai Noki Payyum Thotta, Boomerang and Rajinikanth's untitled film in Tamil has been roped in as the female lead. The untitled project is bankrolled by Lyca Productions. The film reportedly will be a quickie and the makers are planning to release the film in January 2019 for Pongal or on Republic Day.
