SC grants Rs. 50 lakh to ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, actor Madhavan tweets 'Just the beginning'

If one may recall, actor Madhavan was in the news for playing a rocket scientist in a biopic film on ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, who was wrongfully arrested in 1994 and has since legally fought to being charges on those who perpetrated the wrongful arrest.

Nambi Narayanan's fight of 24 years came to an end today when the Supreme Court granted a monetary compensation of Rs. 50 lakh to the former ISRO scientist and ordered a probe to look into the involvement of the Kerala Police who had arrested him.

Actor Madhavan celebrated this verdict by sending out this tweet:

The actor also received a lot of congratulatory messages for his upcoming trilingual, which has supposedly been titled Rocketry - The Nambi Effect. The movie will be shot across Tamil Nadu and USA and Madhavan will be seen playing Nambi Narayanan between the ages of 27 and 90 under National Award winning director Ananth Mahadevan's helm.
