The makers of Neeya 2 have released a new poster on the occasion of Vinayaga Chaturthi featuring all the lead actors in the film. Directed by L. Suresh of Eththan  fame, the film stars Jai, Catherine Tresa, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Raai Laxmi in the lead roles. The first single is expected to be released soon.

The movie is a sequel to  Kamal Haasan-Sripriya starrer  Neeya (1979). Neeya 2 will be a romantic thriller based on shape shifting snakes.  Produced by Jumbo Cinemas A Sridhar, Neeya 2 has Shabir scoring the music with Rajavel Mohan handling the camera.
