Seema Raja starring Siva Karthikeyan and Samantha in the lead roles directed by Ponram hit the screens worldwide yesterday (September 13). Despite earning mixed to negative reviews, the film has made a thunderous start at the Box Office due to its strong advance booking. An official press release (See Below) from the makers states that the film has raked in Rs. 13.5 crore on its opening day in Tamil Nadu from 550 screens. It has minted Rs. 1.01 crore in Chennai Box Office.

Seema Raja marks Siva Karthikeyan’s career best opening in Tamil Nadu. The film has recorded the highest opening in 2018 beating the collections of Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kaala and Suriya starrer Thana Serntha Kootam (TSK) which hit the screens for Pongal.
