Rajinikanth's next with director Karthik Subbaraj which also goes by the tentative title Thalaivar 165 is awaiting a title and motion poster reveal today at 6 PM. At this time, there is a huge buzz in the industry that it has been titled Pettai, though we will have to wait till evening for the official confirmation.

Produced by Sun Pictures, this is touted to be Rajinikanth's last film before he takes on politics as a full-time career and has him playing an army-returned college professor. It has Anirudh Ravichander for music and Tirru for cinematography and also starrs Vijay Sethupathi, Trisha, Megha Akash, Bobby Simha, Simran, Guru Somasundaram, Sanath Reddy and Munish Kanth among others.
