Jayam Ravi who is basking in the success of his latest outing ‘Tik Tik Tik' is gearing up for the release of 'Adanga Maru' in which he is playing the role of a fiercy police officer. The first single "Aangu Vaangu" from the film is set to be launched on September 10, on the occasion of Jayam Ravi's birthday. Sam CS has scored the music.

The teaser of the film which was unveiled recently has garnered a lot of positive response from critics and audience alike. The film touted to be an action entertainer is directed by debutant Karthik Thangavelu and has Raashi Khanna playing  female lead. The movie is bankrolled by Anand under Home Movie Makers and has Sathyan Suryan for cinematography, Lalgudi Ilayaraja for art and Antony L Ruben for the edits.
