The hugely anticipated spy thriller Vishwaroopam 2 hit the screens finally on August 10, 2018. The film has received a mixed response from audiences and critics. The film had a limited release on its opening day due to issues with the distributors. The uncertainty over its release had badly impacted the business of the film on the first day. On Friday, the film did not release in the entire North and South Arcot and several majors screens in Chennai.

The film has minted Rs. 3.02 crore in Chennai City. According to trade sources, the film has made a business of around Rs. 18 crores in its opening weekend in Tamil Nadu. The film has managed to collect Rs. 8.45 crore (all languages) on its opening day.

Yuvan Shankar Raja's maiden production venture Pyaar Prema Kadhal starring Harish Kalyan and Raiza Wilson in the lead roles has received a good response from the audience and critics. It has grossed Rs. 69 lakhs in its opening weekend in Chennai.
