Kerala Floods 2018: Suriya, Karthi donate a huge sum to the CM Relief Fund!

The monsoons in Kerala have not been kind in some parts of the state and heavy rains have flooded the Northern and central regions so bad that around 29 people are dead since August 8, 2018. Added to this, around 54,000 people are on the streets owing to the destruction the floods have caused and a lot of celebrities from the Tamil film industry were seen making appeals to help the people from the neighboring state today. 

Aa a part of this act, actor-brothers Suriya and Karthi have donated a sum of Rs. 25 lakh to the Kerala Chief Minister's distress relief fund, the link of which can be found here. Earlier, Kerala CM had himself made a personal donation of Rs. 1 Lakh towards the fund and had appealed to people from all over to contribute towards the same.
