First Look of Prabhu Deva's Pon Manickavel

As reported by us earlier, Prabhu Deva will be playing a police officer for the first time in his career in Pon Manickavel. The first look of the film has been released by its makers. The film is produced by Nemichand Jhabak of Jhabak Movies.



The movie is believed to be an out-and-out action entertainer set in Chennai and is based on a real-life incident. Kanden director A.C. Mugil is returning to Tamil films with this film and Mugil has earlier worked with Prabhu Deva as a writer in the latter's Bollywood directorials such as Action Jackson(2014), Ramaiya Vastavaiya (2013) and Rowdy Rathore(2012).
