Actor Vikram's yet-to-go-on-floors project with director Rajesh M Selva and actor Kamal Haasan's banner Raj Kamal Productions was in the news only a few days ago, as composer Ghibran had announced that he has started composing music for the film. While it is known that Akshara Haasan will be seen playing the female lead, she will however not be paired opposite Vikram but instead to a younger character. Actor Abhi Mehdhi Haasan (son of actor Nasser) is said to have been roped in to play this role while 8 Thottakal heroine Meera Mithun has been roped in to play the other female lead.
This dream team of Vikram and Ulaganaayagan is expected to start rolling from August 17, 2018 with the banner Trident Arts associating with Kamal Haasan in the production department. We had reported earlier that this yet untitled movie, will be a remake of a french film though there has been no official confirmations to it.
