Hotel in West Bengal names Villa & Beverage after Rajinikanth!

Things being named after or dedicated to Rajinikanth is not new to people of Tamil Nadu, especially the Hotel industry which takes a special liking towards the star actor. The caffeine corner at The Spring Hotel, Chennai has 20 dot drawings of Rajinikanth as it was the same place Rajinikanth owned back in 1977, which was also his first property at Chennai. There is a whole pizza outlet themed, named and menu-ed around the actor (Superstar Pizza) and even the neighbouring capital of Bengaluru has a famous dosa outlet (Vidyarthi Bhavan) where the employers are constantly on the look-out for a 'man-in-disguise' for Rajinikanth is said to be their ardent fan and is rumoured to visit them discreetly.

Adding to this frenzy, The Allita Hotels and Resorts which is hosting Rajinikanth for 10 days during the actor's shooting at the town of Kurseong in Darjeeling district have named the Villa Rajinikanth stayed in as the Rajinikanth Villa #3 in the Superstar's honour. Rajinikanth is shooting there for his film with Karthik Subbaraj and Sun Pictures. Speaking about the same, Mehul Parekh, Alitta's MD has been quoted by a leading daily as saying, “We are extremely grateful to host someone of his stature. This is an achievement in itself for us. This is just a small gesture on our part to show our gratitude towards the star he is.”

Besides the director's bungalow being renamed after the Superstar, Allita has also named the actor's favourite tea as the Thalaiva Special and planted a tree in his honour within their premises. Rajini will reportedly be back in July to stay in the place and continue shooting for his film.
