The shooting of Rajinikanth's next film after Kaala which is  directed by Karthik Subbaraj is currently underway and the team is tented at Darjeeling and will also be seen shooting at Uttarakhand's capital city, Dehradun. Sources tell us that the team began with a song shoot first and it was carried out under choreographer Sheriff's direction. News also has it that actor Munish Kanth has been roped in to play comedian in this film, which is a production venture of Sun Pictures.

Also starring Vijay Sethupathi, Megha Akash, Bobby Simha and Sanath Reddy, this new film of Rajini's has Anirudh Ravichander for music and Tirru for cinematography.
