Director Mani Ratnam's upcoming multi-starrer film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam(CCV) saw actor Simbu aka STR wrapping up his shoot portions on Friday and his last schedule was shot in Serbia and Dubai. Touted to be Mani Ratnam's quickest film ever, CCV will now go into post-production phase for a few months and plans to have a simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu.

Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is said to be socio-political drama with Vijay Sethupathi playing a cop, Simbu playing an Engineer and Arvind Swami playing a politician. Arjun Vijay is expected to be seen playing villain in the movie that also stars Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari and Dayana Erappa among others. CCV which has A.R. Rahman for the music is produced by Madras Talkies and will be presented by Lyca Productions.
