With fans eagerly awaiting to watch Kaala on screen, here's some interesting new updates on Rajinikanth's next film to be directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produved by Sun Pictures. A photoshoot with the film's team is currently taking place at the sun-network office and as reported earlier the team will be shooting in Uttarakhand's capital city, Dehradun from June 7, 2018.

Vijay Sethupathi will be seen playing an important role, possibly the role of a villain. Bobby Simha and Sanath Reddy are also part of the cast, while Simran is said to be the frontrunner for the female lead. The film's music will be handled by Anirudh Ravichander and National Award-winning cinematographer Tirru will be seen cranking the camera.
