As we know, Rajinikanth's upcoming movie Kaala is Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi's debut in Tamil and she will be seen playing the role of Rajinikanth's aide,Zareena, who helps him bring down a conniving, ruthless politician, played by actor Nana Patekar. Since Huma's role in the movie is pivotal (Rajini is even seen with a tattoo of Zareena’s name on his hand), the actress has now had a poster release for her character and taking the moment, she thanked her director Pa. Ranjith and her co-star Rajini. 



In a recent interview Pa. Ranjith also revealed that Huma Qureshi plays a 45-year-old independent woman who will be seen as Rajinikanth’s former lover and the duo will be also be seen in a duet song. 


Touted to be a gangster flick, Kaala is mostly about face-off between Rajini and Nana Patekar and also has Eswari Rao playing Rajini’s wife, Dhileepan (younger brother of director AR Murugadoss) playing one of Rajini's sons and master Manyu playing the Superstar’s grandson in the movie.The film hits theatre screens on June 7, 2018.
