The shooting of Thalapathy 62 resumed last week in Chennai after the end of the film industry strike. The team had already completed 40% of the film shoot. The team had shot a bike rally scene at OMR recently. Vijay who was part of the shoot was seen riding a bike and leading the bike rally with many other youngsters following him. They were around 1000 bikers shooting for this scene. The bike rally scene is said to be one of the important scenes in the film. The video clips of Vijay riding the bike has been doing the rounds on social media.

Thalapathy 62 is directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sun Pictures. Keerthy Suresh plays the female lead with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar donning a pivotal role. Music by AR Rahman. The film plans to hit theatre screens for Diwali this year.
