The shoot of Vijay - AR Murugadoss' Thalapathy 62 resumes today in Chennai. The film shoot had been stopped mid-way due to the TPFC strike. However Thalapathy 62 was one of the films which got special permission from TPFC to shoot during Film industry strike. About 40% of the film has been wrapped and the team is back in action today resuming the film's shoot after the strike. 

Directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sun Pictures, Thalapathy 62 has Keerthy Suresh playing female lead with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar donning a pivotal role as well. Music by AR Rahman. The film plans to hit theatre screens for Diwali this year.
