After the news of Thalapathy 62 shooting happening despite the industry-wide strike broke out and spread like wild-fire, clarifications have started emerging from the Producers' council's side. Apparently, TFPC has issued permission to four Tamil films including Vijay starrer Thalapathy 62. Accroding to them, Nadodigal 2 (starring Sasikumar) has gotten 2 days extra and Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithal has gotten a day extra to to carry out shoots in Madurai and Delhi respectively. One more producton house 18th Cross Pictures, has also applied for permission to shoot at ECR which is still under consideration.
As reported by us earlier, this special extension from the deadline of March 16, 2018 was granted to Sun TV's Thalapathy 62 due to non-local technicians' availability and the huge investments made on production sets.
This explanation from TFPC's side has garnered mixed reactions from both industry insiders and followers. While some see no harm in carrying out these specified shoots, others find a disparity in this move. Listen to the audio below and leave in your comments below as to what do you think of the topic.
